My grandmother: Lelita

This summer was a special summer, because my grandmother and I stayed together more than ever. January was a horrible month. She was sick of a fungus: "Oral candidiasis". And for an older woman (she is already 90 years old) with Alzheimer, to tell us where the pain is and how it's feels it isn't possible. We were lucky that a doctor diagnosed her sickness as fungus: that was treatable. When she was healthy again, I took her for a little ride. That's the story of this picture. I took it for remembering this happy moment: my grandmother recovered. It was taken in February and i like it because it's a picture that symbolizes my triumph on her fungus and her capacity to stay alive and survive at her age. That was a battle for us, and we won it!! Please, look at her face. It isn't usual to see so much happiness, right? For that it's so special for me. At any age you can be happy if you are a loved person and have the right care.
